My son loves animals, and sea turtles are among his favorite. This was another puzzle that he picked out when we visited the lone physical White Mountain Puzzle store in July during our trip to New Hampshire.

An array of sea turtles and their neighbors are pictured on this puzzle by artist Gerald Newton. There are seven species of sea turtles, the largest being the leatherback which can mature to six to nine feet in length! All sea turtles are much bigger than land tortoises and fresh water turtles because of their habitat in vast oceans which give them plenty of room to grow. Sadly, all seven species are considered to be endangered or vulnerable. This puzzle has 300 extra large and sturdy pieces with a finished size of 18” x 24”.

I usually try to stick to puzzles with 1,000 pieces or more, but it’s always nice to build a smaller one that can be finished in one sitting. We’ve probably put this one together at least 5 times so far. Great puzzle for families to build together.
